What We Believe

We believe in  the Maslow’s  Theory which says certain survival needs must be satisfied  first, only then are  we motivated to fill our higher level needs. Using biblical and universal  principles we  promote spiritual, physical,  emotional and financial health and wholeness in the people that we serve.  Cords of Life understands that things can  get difficult when facing life's  challenges alone.  A  person standing alone can  be attacked, defeated and  overwhelmed, but  two can stand back-to-back and  conquer. Three are even better, for a  triple-braided cord is not easily   broken.

We believe it is possible for a person to  transcend  their cultural conditioning and become a productive member of society.  We work  with our clients to also help them discover their life's vocation, calling, destiny  and/or purpose.  Our goal is not only to supply basic necessities, but to also restore the whole  person:  mind, body and spirit. Through collaborative partnerships we are able to provide our clients with the tools they need to begin a journey of self development.

Our Vision

We envision a world where hunger and homelessness no longer exist and education is afforded to everyone.
